I’m thrilled to participate in the first Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America reading series of 2019 in Seattle and Portland. Writers K.G. Anderson and Edd Vick will join me to read from novels and short stories, including material from After the Orange, a new anthology of satirical fiction of the post-Trump future. Both events are free! Here’s the details.
Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wilde Rover Irish Pub, 111 Central Way, Kirkland, Wash. FREE.
Thursday, January 31, 2019, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Lucky Labrador Brew Pub, 915 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, Ore. FREE registration at EventBrite.
Here’s more information about my colleagues.
Karen (K.G.) Anderson writes short fiction — urban fantasy, space opera, alternate history, Weird West tales, near-future science fiction, poetry, and mystery. She studied at Taos Toolbox (2017), Viable Paradise (2013), and Cascade Writers (2011).
Edd Vick writes stories with stars and ghosts, with dinosaurs and lost children, with worlds both altered and familiar.
I hope to see you in Seattle or Portland!
