  1. I was one of (if not the last) the last officers in charge of PTF 26. Left it in Coronado in 1979. Soon after sold to women painted blue up in Richmond California. Napier deltics replaced by GMC diesels.

    Lots of McHales navy stories about PTF 26 from 1977 to 1979.
