This collection of lighthouse photos showcases stunning photographs of American maritime heritage, capturing the essence of America’s coastal legacy. Many of these lighthouses are featured in the Fyddeye Guides series, including The Fyddeye Guide to America’s Lighthouses, the Fyddeye Guide to America’s Veteran Warships, and the Fyddeye Guide to America’s Maritime Museums. You can visit the vast majority of these lighthouses, favorites of photographers everywhere. Check out my list of the nine best lighthouse climbs.

Enjoy books on Pacific Northwest maritime history and maritime history travel guides.

  1. Hi Joe, We were wondering where your online fyddeye guide is? You listed the Summersville Lake Lighthouse in West Virginia in it and now we can’t seem to find it. We have posted tons of photos of the 100′ Tall Working Lighthouse on http://www.facebook.com/summersvillelakeretreat and we still would like for you to see it in person. Please email me at slr278@yahoo.com with information about your guide. We were showing everyone your site and would like to continue showing folks. We just had Santa at the Lighthouse yesterday where he handed out gift bags to some disadvantaged children in the area. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you, Donna Keblesh
